eBay glitch shows free P&P

by Sue Bailey

This post was written in November 2007; specific information contained within it may be out of date.

There’s a glitch on eBay UK, and possibly other eBay sites as well, which is causing postage rates on search results to show as free when items have not been listed with free postage. Though listings themselves and eBay’s Checkout are showing the correct postage prices, buyers don’t necessarily spot this and assume - quite rightly - that the information showing in search is correct. Apparently eBay are working on a fix for this as we speak.

Had a couple myself this morning
Means we will have to be extra smart in getting invoices to people - still saves going to Tesco with the wife this morning!!!

So they’ve acknowledged it at bloody last! I reported this to PS Support 2 weeks ago!

AFAIK, Sam, they haven’t acknowledged it. There’s nothing on the Announcements Board.

But they must have acknowledged it if they’re trying to fix it, as per the OP?
