Dumped 2.0

He was the founder of Wikipedia. She was a right-wing TV commentator. Then he dumped her via Wikipedia. So now she’s selling his clothes on eBay. The sweater and t-shirt (with two small white stains) have apparently been washed twice in extra-strength detergent, “otherwise they would not be in salable condition”. Ms Marsden models both garments herself, and apologises for her hair being in a mess: “I’m in break-up mode right now”. With the sweater currently standing at more than $200 with 9 days left to go, it seems she may get the last laugh.
If you want the whole lowdown on this rather sorry tale, Gawker has it.

“Marsden subsequently told friends that Wales gave her feedback on her website design — is that what kids are calling it these days? — for 24 hours straight in a D.C. hotel.”

what amazes me about these things, is who the heck would want either of these things???????
Buyers with more money than sense, Lynne? I think we’d all welcome a few more of them

Another classic tale of love in the noughties.
Just very, very classy.
• TechCrunch’s slightly alarmist take on this.
