PerfumeBay have finally given up on their trademark fight with eBay, and have changed their name to Beauty Encounter.
Beauty Encounter’s CEO Jacquelyn Tran wrote
We fought a good fight for four years, but now I feel it’s in our customer’s [sic] best interest to evolve, rather than continue the legal battle.
The perfumebay.com domain name now redirects to beautyencounter.com. Ms Tran had previously argued that the PerfumeBay name was supposed to signify “a bay filled with ships carrying perfume from every corner of the world”.

Sue, its funny how you got this story about a company in Orange County (where I live) before I did and from the Orange County Business Journal with a circulation of 20
Am I going to have start researching the local UK press?
not sure how ebay managed to bag the global rights to the word “Bay” !? presumably they simply had to purchase all the “Bays” in the world !?!?!
Heh heh, Randy, RSS feeds are a wonderful thing
Make sure you get a good price for Tamebay
