Cheap listing days on eBay France, India

eBay France have a cheap listing day this Thursday, 10th April. Insertion fees for BINs and auctions are capped at 25c. And there’s an extra discount for PowerSellers, who pay just 15c insertion fees for either format. French insertion fees include a free Gallery picture. The promotional rate is valid for PowerSellers resident abroad as well as those resident in France, so long as they are registered as a business seller. There are some exclusions, notably in the Vehicles, Boats and Media categories which all have their own fee structures.
Meanwhile eBay India has rather a clever promotion running all week: 50% off listing upgrades that you haven’t used over the last three months (excluding International Listing and Propack). This is a great idea, which would be good to run over an even longer period, allowing sellers to trial upgrades that they would otherwise not bother with.
It bears saying again: the once-a-month, across-the-board, low-cost listing day is becoming less and less common, and anyone who’s relying on them needs to find a new strategy quickly.
