Polish sellers list for 5c on eBay.com 5th-6th September

On 5th and 6th September there’s a special promotion for Polish-resident sellers, who will be able to list on eBay.com for just 5c. The offer is valid for auctions and BIN listings, but sellers must offer PayPal as a payment method and have DSRs of 4.5 or above for all four criteria. eBay Poland offers free media listings all summer

eBay Poland are offering free insertion fees in media categories from 1st July to 30th September. Listings in Movies and DVDs, Books and Comics and Music and CD, in both auction and BIN format, will qualify. The offer is available only to Polish residents. There’s a cheap listing day on eBay UK today. Auctions and Buy It Nows can be listed for just 5p, regardless of start price. And if you hadn’t heard about this one before now, it’s not surprising: it’s only for Polish residents.
It’s not the first time eBay Poland has run a promotion on another country’s site like this: they had one for private sellers on eBay Germany last week. eBay are struggling in Poland: they’ve been quoted as having just a 2% market share, versus QXL Poland’s 95%. The one thing they can offer Polish sellers is exposure in western European markets where QXL cannot compete.
Not that this will be much consolation to UK sellers when their competition can list at a fraction of the price they’re paying themselves.
