Parcel2Go.com are offering half price standard parcel delivery this weekend. Up until Midnight on Saturday evening you can book a courier collection and delivery normally costing £7.99 plus VAT with a 50% discount using the coupon code “SDHALF”.

It’s almost four years ago I first used a shipping discount code for a courier delivery and it’s one of the best things that ever happened to my business. Up until then I only sold items which were light enough for Royal Mail deliveries, but one over-weight parcel opened my eyes to couriers and I soon opened an account.

Being able to sell bulk orders and heavier items made a huge difference to both sales and profits, so if you’ve like me and have never used a courier try it just once, it could be the start of a profitable expansion to your online business.

Parcel2Go are offering half price standard deliveries this week. Any delivery booked before midnight on Sunday night qualifies for 50% off their standard £7.99 plus VAT rate. Simply enter the discount code ‘HALFSD3‘ when booking your collection.

Parcel2Go have doubled their business since this time last year. In September 2007 they handled 21,000 parcels, but this September that increased to 55,000 for the month. Steve Kramer, Parcel2Go Director said “People have realised that they can get better value and have parcels - big and small - collected from their door”.

If you’re selling a larger item on eBay they’re worth considering, especially if it’s going to cost more to deliver via Royal Mail. For Parcel2Go to double their business in a year they’ve got to be getting something right.

Parcel2go are offering half price courier deliveries for the next week.

Their normal charge is £7.99 plus VAT for a 1-2 day standard UK delivery but with the coupon code HALFSD2 inserted on the Order Summary page during the booking process you’ll get 50% off that price. The promotion runs up until the 31st July 2008.

Parcel2go offer FedEx services along with DHL, City Link, UPS, Home Delivery Network, and Royal Mail. There’s no need for a courier contract, you can simply book a delivery when you need it and even pay with PayPal.

If you’ve got orders to send this week, that will cost you more than £4 to ship, then try Parcel2go and take advantage of the discount.
